As a Showroom Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our showroom and ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing a team of showroom employees, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain a high level of customer service, productivity, and sales. Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of showroom employees, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure efficient showroom operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Coach and develop the showroom team, providing ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Set sales targets and goals for the team, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to drive sales and achieve targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement marketing and promotional initiatives to drive customer traffic and sales.
  • Conduct regular showroom meetings to communicate goals, updates, and performance expectations to the team.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, customer satisfaction, and productivity, and take appropriate actions to address any gaps or areas of improvement.
  • Maintain a safe and clean showroom environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and new products to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers and the team.
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting, accurately and in a timely manner.             

Requirements 

      • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a retail or similar environment.
      • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and employees at all levels.
      • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service best practices.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
      • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
      • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational issues and customer concerns.
      • Proficiency in using computer systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and other retail-related technology.
      • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
      • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail management is a plus.
